9/11/03 - Another Sunrise.

9/12/03 - 65 mph winds at 4 am.  It was pitch black out.  The only way to see if the hatch covers blew off my kayak was to take a time exposure during the lightning strikes, and then look at the photo.

9/12/03 - Another time exposure.
9/12/03 - After the storm.  Four 15 foot high Ficus trees blew down.  One is nearly into the pool.  These are our pride and joy.   9/13/03 - I starting trimming the trees and using a come-along to pull them back up.  I tied all of them to the fence.  This one was at about 30 degrees with the ground and its bark at its base was cracked open.  It has fortunately survived nicely.
